How does the Islands mode in Kotoba work?

Pick an island, then turn between its topics. Your saved stories live inside each topic, alongside reading, listening, writing, and speaking practice. You can explore in any order. Explore the islands.

What does the progress ring mean?

Each segment represents an activity you have practiced at the selected depth. Saving a story or browsing a topic does not fill the ring. You can revisit activities and change depth whenever you like.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's App Store settings. Go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Kotoba → Cancel Subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the app, go to Settings → tap on the subscription card, then select "Restore Purchases". Use the store account that made the original purchase.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account". This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Which languages are supported?

Kotoba currently supports 31 languages including Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Dutch, and Nordic/Baltic/Eastern European languages.

Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find the Kotoba purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund"
